Well, our little boy is off to school. We got up early, packed our lunch and off we went to Mommy’s school for our first day of Pre-K. Daddy drove David Geno to school and stayed in class for a bit (while Mommy was off to work at car circle)Daddy helped David find his cubby and his blue “rhombus” at his seat. No, Boo-Hoo Breakfast for this big boy. It was straight to work, learning, reading and getting to know all of his new friends and teachers at Frontier Elementary School. He read books at circle time, ate a snack with his classmates and played on the playground. Amazingly, Mommy only peeked in on him three times. At nap time, he just “rested” and was too excited to close his eyes for some much needed sleep. (Mommy saw him fidgeting on his cot) Soon, it was time to pick him up and tell Mommy and Daddy all the wonderful things about his day….actually, he said it was a “secret” and we had to read what the teacher wrote in him notebook J Just yesterday he was our baby and now he’s in school, how time flies!
